International Day of Remembrance for Infant Loss On Thursday, October 15th, it is the international Day of Remembrance for Infant Loss. Every single day throughout the year, 6,400 infants lose their lives, and on this day, parents around the world remember their deceased infants. We will meet at Børnestykket at Nordre Kirkegård at 6:30 PM, light candles, and remember our deceased infants. You can bring your own candles and possibly decorate them at home. We have some lantern bags you can use for your candle. After a while of lighting candles at Børnestykket, we will move into Nordre Salen to talk with others who have lost infants.
