Under the title "My Life in the Shadow of the Wall," Renate Kauschwitz will share her personal story about life with the Berlin Wall. Renate was born before the wall was built and grew up in the western part of Berlin, surrounded by the Berlin Wall. Due to the wall, her professional life took a significant turn, and she also witnessed an escape attempt. The Berlin Wall also created divisions within her family; the wall literally went through her family. The fall of the wall became a pivotal event in her life story. Everyone is welcome, and the lecture and coffee cost 25 kr.
